The Margret M. and Paul B. Baltes Foundation issues four awards
for outstanding social and behavioral research on aging and
development. The nominees are selected by professional scientific
associations: the American Psychological Association (APA), the
Gerontological Society of America (GSA), the German Society for
Gerontology and Geriatrics (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Gerontologie
und Geriatrie, DGGG) and the German Psychological Society (Deutsche
Gesellschaft für Psychologie, DGPs). Apart from the latter, the
awards are not restricted to members of the associations nor country
or discipline. Applications as well as nominations are to be
addressed exclusively to the named organizations.
